Delivery - Wales

What do we do?

  • Use policy thinking, influencing and community action to create equitable, inclusive and lasting change that enables more people to enjoy walking in Wales.

  • Lead the Ramblers' policy and public affairs work in Wales, helping to shape national and regional decision-making, with a focus on those with the least access and most barriers to access.

  • Work with priority communities and partners across Wales to enable more people to go walking and improve local walking infrastructure.

  • Collaborate with local authorities, public bodies and third-sector organisations, alongside colleagues across the Ramblers, to deliver the Ramblers' strategy in a Welsh context.

  • I most enjoy the ability to affect peoples lives in a positive way. As a small nation with a distinct culture and character, I enjoy our success in influencing change and building partnerships that lead to co-produced projects that are impactful.
